Wow, it’s been awhile. I haven’t really posted much here for some time, purely because there’s so much been going on, between school and my other job. But I’d thought I would post something about the new video I finished probably about two weeks ago for an English project It’s a music video based on the song “Let Go” by Frou Frou, and was made really as an experiment in editing, mainly. There's a breakdown of how the video was made over on the newly released blog that I've started up on Tumblr.
As you can also see, Twitter is now intergrated into the site as a handy twitter button. I didn't want to cloud up the overall design with a twitter feed, as that just to me complicates the overall site design. Social networking intergration in my site really hasn't been the main focus, but as the times evolve, and the internet technology follows, you sort of have to keep up. While Raging Lion Studios is probably one of the last sites on the face of the earth to boast such intergration, I like to call it being late to the party.
On a side note, you may notice that work has slowed on websites. This is because we are slowly starting to trickle out the amount of web clients, and announce that we are now focusing more on animation and movie based projects. This is not to say that we will tackle the random website from time to time, because it is a good source of practice for our design skills, but this is honestly the track that I've always wanted to take with RLS. It just took a lot of thinking to bring that concept to fruition. Do not be surprised though, if one day, I announce that we will no longer be having design services. It will be apart of the natural life cycle of the studio. That's all! Thanks a bunch, keep checking back!

Hello there! I proudly welcome you to the newest design of the Raging Lion Studios website. This brings us to version 3.0, and it was quite a beast to tackle. Featuring code written from the ground up and a fresh new look, "Stormbolt" as this template is called is probably our best template to date. It works across multiple browsers without losing any features, and was coded in fully compliant HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Featuring some rather nifty 'Lightbox' effects acheieved with the amazing Shadowbox Script Effect, and using Jquery to program a non-flash based menu, StormBolt is sure to Wow you as you sift through the site. So I implore you, please check everything out, talk to us--let us what know what you like and what you don't...and enjoy the fresh new design!
Just a quick note, there was several bugs that was preventing this site from working in Internet Explorer 7. After some quick fixes, the site now works in Internet Explorer 7-8. Support for Internet Explorer 6 has been discontiuned though so if the site looks a bit jumbled--sorry! You should have upgraded your IE a long time ago, really. The web has much more possibilites and well, IE 6's rendering engine just doesn't cut it anymore. So if you're among the few that still use it...go to www.microsoft.com and upgrade!
Also, because of the site not working properly in some browsers this site has now been classified as being in "Beta" status. So you might see some bugs since it's not the final product. I'm also in the process of optimizing some images so they load a lot faster--some background images were running a hefty 900 kb/s. These have been downsized to a much more appropiate 100kb/s and load much faster, as well as the thumbnails on the portfolio and video pages run much faster.
I'm just going to ask that you're patient as I throughly test everything to make sure that you, the customer/viewer of the site has the best experience possible. Stormbolt was designed to give you a streamlined, smooth experienence and I'm attempting to recitfy things that are hamperning that vision. Check back for updates and such soon. Thanks a bunch!
